How to file a claim under a Oriental’s Group Health Insurance Policy?

The claim process under a group health insurance policy (also called corporate health insurance policy) are of two types:

In case of network hospital : If the client visits a network hospital, one that the policy's respective insurer has tied up with, he is entitled to get cashless hospitalization. This means that the customer needs to show his health card and he can avail the cashless service. The insurance company directly settles customer's hospitalization expenses with the hospital subject to complete documentation. To avail of this, it is necessary to inform us (insurance company/broker/TPA) within 24 hours of admission or before the discharge from the hospital/nursery home, specifying the timelines along with the address/phone number at which the insurer can contact the customer. The cashless process is available at network hospitals only as mentioned in your policy copy.

In case of non-network hospital : : In case the treatment happens in a non-network hospital, i.e., not in the network of the insurance company then the client gets reimbursement claim settlement and the client is required to give a written notification of the claim, immediately, and in any event within 24 hours of the illness or injury. It is necessary that the insured consults a doctor, and follow the given advice and treatments.

The client also needs to submit the hard copies of the claim documents. In case of any query, he/she can reach out to us at +91 9696683999 or support@securenow.in
