How to file a claim under a Reliance’s Group Health Insurance Policy?

The claim process under a Group Health Insurance Policy can be of 2 types which are described below:

In case of network hospital : If you are visiting a network hospital, one that your health insurer has tied up with, you will be entitled to get cashless hospitalization. This means that you need to show your health card and you can avail cashless service .The insurer will directly settle your hospitalization expenses with the hospital provided all the required conditions are met. To avail of this, it is necessary to notify the insurer/broker within 24 hours of admission or before discharge from the hospital/nursery home. Here, notification of claim means informing about the claim to the insurer or TPA, specifying the timelines along with address/telephone number which the insurer can contact. The cashless procedure is available at network hospitals only as mentioned in your policy.

In case of non-network hospital : If the treatment is taking place in a non-network hospital, i.e., not in the network of the insurer then the client will be entitled to get reimbursement claim settlement and the client should give a written notification of the claim, immediately, and in any event within 24 hours of the illness or injury. It is necessary that the insured consults a doctor, and follow the recommended advice and treatment.

You also need to submit the hard copies of the claim documents. In case of any query, you can reach out to us at +91 9696683999 or write to us at support@securenow.in
